Microsoft Presales Engineer

The Opportunity: We are seeking a Microsoft Presales Engineer to join the Technologent team full time in Dallas, TX.
               Role: Microsoft Presales Engineer

The impact you will have:

You are a Microsoft champion! You understand the challenges that customers have with the acquisition and management of Microsoft licensing, and you solve those challenges through the delivery of ongoing solutions that reduce their risk and manage their costs. The Microsoft Sales Specialist handles coordinating and executing the Microsoft sales strategy across a group of national sales representatives. This includes the efforts to grow our customers through competitive tactics while keeping and enriching the base of existing accounts. Successful execution will also require strong management of the local Microsoft partnership.

What you will do:
  • Manage the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement / Cloud Solution Provider renewal and true up process.
  • Manage a pipeline of Microsoft sales opportunities.
  • Provide pre-sales support to sales reps and customers on Microsoft licensing and solutions.
  • Identify new Enterprise Agreement / Cloud Solution Provider prospects.
  • Deliver Microsoft product roadmaps, licensing, and financial content to customers.
  • Participate in local customer events to deliver Technologent content.
  • Develop and deliver training to Technologent sales teams on Microsoft products and services.
  • Engage with local Technologent sales teams to sell jointly into sales territories and customer accounts.
What you will bring to the table:
  • A deep understanding of Microsoft products and services including 365 and Azure
  • 3-5 years of sales experience (with Microsoft products).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer-facing presentation skills.
  • Experience solving complex customers problems through analysis.
  • The ability and experience in training and mentoring others.
  • Ability to interact and communicate at the Executive level.
  • Experience developing strategy and tactics to meet business goals.
Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft CSP & 365 programs
  • Strong attention to detail when auditing customer's Microsoft consumption
  • PreSales experience
  • Advanced PowerShell skills
  • Experience with 365 and OneDrive migrations
Bonus Skills:
  • Azure experience
  • MS SQL experience
  • Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Sharepoint to Sharepoint online conversions/migrations
  • Experience as a Microsoft customer
