Responsibilities:
The position will require the candidate to reside in Dallas Fort Worth metro area and must be able to commute to our office as needed. Annual Salary will depend on experience. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs. Role: Data Center Engineer
Experience: 4+ years of experience

Duration: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Rack, Stack, Cable, & Label:
- Organize and install network equipment in data center environments.
- Ensure proper cable management and labeling for easy identification and maintenance.
- Various DC Related Tasks:
- Perform routine data center maintenance and monitoring activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues affecting network performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of the data center.
- Install and Configure Cisco Switches (SAN & Network):
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco switches for both Storage Area Networks (SAN) and general network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Local and Travel Requirements:
- Must be based in the Dallas, TX area to facilitate quick response and on-site support.
- Willingness to travel for project implementations, upgrades, and troubleshooting at remote locations.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in the installation and configuration of Cisco switches.
- Experience with data center operations and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and security principles.
- Desired knowledge\experience with the following:
- VxRAIL
- VMware
- Server setup\implementation
- Skills:
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment in a data center environment.
- Certifications:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification is preferred.
- VMware certifications, especially related to hyper-converged infrastructure, are a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
