Technical Project Manager

The Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee multiple scrum teams within our client’s technology division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex software development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate multiple scrum teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across all project phases.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects.
  • Act as a liaison between scrum teams and other organizational units, such as product management, IT, and business stakeholders, facilitating clear and effective communication.
  • Oversee the scrum process and coach teams on agile best practices, helping to resolve impediments and promoting an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Assess project risks, identify potential issues, and proactively work on solutions to address them.
  • Ensure quality control throughout project life cycles and implement project standards across teams.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and responsiveness, ensuring that the team’s productivity and work quality are maximized.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role managing multiple agile teams.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification with in-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing large-scale software development projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with large-scale software development environments.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern project management tools and techniques.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
