The Opportunity: We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with expertise in Systems Engineering to design and maintain reliable, scalable systems. This role emphasizes operating systems, infrastructure automation, and performance optimization.

• Role: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Systems Engineering and Operating Systems Specialist 
• Experience: 6-9 Years
• Location: Las Vegas, NV
• Duration: 6 Month+ Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• System Design: Develop and optimize distributed systems, including hardware, operating systems, and storage.
• Operating Systems: Monitor and optimize Linux/Unix or Windows environments, including kernel tuning and performance management.
• Reliability & Automation: Implement SLOs/SLIs, automate tasks, and enhance monitoring tools.
• Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to design fault-tolerant systems and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, conduct capacity planning, and ensure systems scale efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).  
• Strong expertise in Linux/Unix or Windows systems, including troubleshooting and administration.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred:

• Experience in performance benchmarking, database systems, and certifications (e.g., Red Hat, AWS).

Additional Requirements:

• Must obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming License.
