The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced WDE Engineer to manage and troubleshoot Genesys Workspace Desktop Edition (WDE) integrations and upgrades. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Linux, Docker, and firewall configurations to ensure seamless platform functionality and data transmission. This role involves working on platform configurations, addressing integration issues, and providing support during platform changes and disaster recovery activities.

Responsibilities:
- Integrate WAC via iframe embedded in WDE and troubleshoot WDE and Desktop Bridge upgrades.
- Diagnose and resolve integration, security, and data transmission issues, such as incomplete or incorrect customer IDs on WDE.
- Ensure accurate data flow from WDE to associated portals and handle configuration changes/settings for WDE IDs.
- Analyze and debug platform issues using WDE logs and assist in end-to-end call troubleshooting during platform changes or upgrades.
- Provide support during disaster recovery activities and related testing.
- Manage call transfer configurations between Voice ID CCP and non-Voice ID CCP.
- Address Citrix-based versus non-Citrix CCP configurations and handle desktop bridge setup and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot issues related to portals, caller type switches, multiple enrollments, and CSP dial issues.
- Fetch platform logs and troubleshoot Nuance GUI, SIP servers, and service servers.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Genesys Workspace Desktop Edition (WDE).
- Expertise in Linux environments, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Docker for managing and deploying containers.
- Knowledge of firewall configurations and security protocols.
- Ability to analyze logs and resolve complex platform issues.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Citrix environments and handling Citrix-based CCPs.
- Experience with disaster recovery processes and testing.
- Knowledge of data transmission protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
- Prior experience working with Nuance GUI, SIP servers, and service-level configurations.
