Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sr Implementation Engineer to deploy and configure virtual solutions remotely and virtually. The role primary focuses on the deployment of physical servers for virtualization platforms with strong skills in troubleshooting and networking from a server perspective. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive self-starter, and passionate about high quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Deploying and configuring hardware solutions to be used in virtual environments.
Deployment and configuration of virtualization nodes for existing environments.
Troubleshooting for host network connectivity.
Working with project management to achieve results based on project guidelines.
Documenting final configuration for both physical and virtual implementation.
Requirements:
Experience with virtualization is required.
Experience with AHV (Acropolis) is a plus.
10+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure environments.
5+ years of implementation experience in IT environments.
Working knowledge of data center operations including racking and cabling to high standards.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Ability to lift and install equipment in server racks (up to 50 lbs).
Travel up to 60%
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AHV (Acropolis) is a strong plus.
Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure solutions such as Nutanix is a strong plus.
Experience as working for a VAR or manufacturer in the IT industry is a strong plus.
Annual Salary Range is depending on experience. The compensation range reflects the Company’s reasonable expectations at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs. [This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program]
