The Opportunity: We are seeking skilled GCP Cloud Infrastructure Engineers to support our client’s cloud-native development, infrastructure automation, and production operations at scale. The ideal candidate will be an Agile champion with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Big Data services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern software development using languages such as Java, Go, or Python. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and scale cloud-based solutions using the latest GCP offerings.

• Project Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 1–5+ years of experience with Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform), focused on IaC and immutable infrastructure
• 1–5+ years of experience with GCP foundational services: IAM, VPC, Cloud Logging, Security controls, Storage, and Compute
• Deep understanding of GCP’s GKE Enterprise, Serverless, and Big Data native services: Dataproc, Composer, Dataflow, BigQuery (BQ), etc.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Familiarity with service mesh concepts and traffic flow management; Istio experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry (OTEL)
• Knowledge of FinOps/cloud cost optimization concepts is a plus
• Proven experience supporting large-scale production systems
• Strong communication skills to interpret technical and business challenges and provide solutions
• Willingness to learn new technologies and serve as a consultant or subject matter expert across internal teams
