Release Manager
Phoenix, AZThe Opportunity: We are seeking Release Managers to lead and coordinate all release activities across our client’s platform, ensuring timely, secure, and compliant delivery of features and enhancements. This role will manage dependencies across multiple scrum teams, align with PI planning cycles, and maintain release integrity across development, test, and production environments. Ideal candidates will bring strong technical expertise in CI/CD and Git practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive successful release outcomes in an Agile environment.

- Role: Release Manager
- Experience: 6-9 years
- Work Location: Phoenix, AZ
- Project Duration: 12+ Month Contract
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end release lifecycle for platform components.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure readiness for each release phase.
- Maintain and communicate the release calendar, coordinating with PI planning, system demos, and iteration reviews.
- Drive branching strategy and version control practices across repositories.
- Facilitate release readiness reviews, including feature tagging, test coverage validation, and stakeholder sign-offs.
- Manage risk and rollback planning, while leading during incident remediation.
- Track and improve release metrics and drive automation in release processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in release management or technical program management.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git branching strategies, GitHub Actions, and DevOps tooling.
- Experience coordinating releases across multiple Agile teams and environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and lead effectively during critical incidents.
