IT Change Management Specialist

Phoenix, AZ

The Opportunity: We are seeking an IT Change Management Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and adoption of IT initiatives across the organization. This role ensures that technology changes are implemented smoothly, stakeholders remain informed, and business processes continue without disruption. The ideal candidate combines strong communication, project coordination, and documentation skills with a solid understanding of IT operations and service management.

  • Project Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support adoption of new tools, systems, and processes.
  • Create clear, audience-specific communications, including presentations, FAQs, release notes, and talking points for technology rollouts.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Program Managers, and IT teams to build and maintain project plans, schedules, and milestone trackers.
  • Document key discussions, decisions, and action items during operational meetings and working sessions.
  • Maintain consistent templates, reporting documentation, and governance standards.
  • Coordinate readiness activities, user impact assessments, and feedback loops for large-scale IT changes.
  • Partner with internal communications to ensure enterprise-wide messaging and support materials are aligned.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of change enablement processes.

Required Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT change management, project coordination, or IT communications.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, concise messaging.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, capable of creating executive-level presentations.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Airtable).
  • Familiarity with communication platforms (e.g., Slack, Webex).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
