The Opportunity: We are looking for a Project Coordinator / PMO Analyst to support our client’s day-to-day operations within a Global Project Management Office (PMO). This role focuses on project coordination, PMO tool administration, reporting support, and process execution across IT initiatives.
This position is ideal for someone early in their project management or IT career who has foundational PMO experience and is looking to grow into a Project Manager role over time.

Travel: Occasional travel (1–2 times per year) to a Southern California office
Project Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Work Schedule: Supports Pacific Time business hours
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support for PMO tools, dashboards, and reporting
Serve as a technical administrator for PMO applications, including project and portfolio management platforms
Assist with project scheduling, resource coordination, and cost tracking
Monitor project status and follow up with Project Managers for updates and reporting
Develop requirements and support enhancements for PMO applications and workflows
Perform and track project audits, surveys, and compliance checks
Support PMO communications, including newsletters, status updates, and outage communications
Assist with rollout and adoption of PMO tools and processes across teams
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience working in a PMO, project coordination, or IT support role
Experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including MS Project, Power BI, Power Automate, and related reporting or integration work
Familiarity with project scheduling, coordination, and portfolio reporting
Basic project management education or certifications
College degree in Information Technology, Systems, or a related field
Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience administering or supporting PPM or PMO tools (e.g., OnePlan, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar)
Familiarity with Power BI reporting, data mapping, and integrations
Understanding of PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
Experience writing technical requirements or designs for PMO applications
Background supporting enterprise or global project environments
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or highly operational industries
Hourly contracting rate is anticipated to be between $20-25/hr W2. The compensation range reflects the Company’s reasonable expectations at the time of posting.
