ServiceNow Developer
The Opportunity: We are looking for a ServiceNow Platform Engineer to support the design, development, and optimization of enterprise ITSM and ITAM solutions. This role focuses on building scalable workflows, enhancing platform capabilities, and enabling efficient service delivery through automation and seamless integrations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure high-quality outcomes across the ServiceNow ecosystem.

- Role: ServiceNow Developer
- Experience: 6-9 Years
- Work Location: Phoenix, AZ
- Project Duration: 12+ Months Contract
- Develop and enhance ServiceNow applications across ITSM and ITAM modules to support business operations.
- Configure platform components including workflows, forms, business rules, and client-side logic.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs and other web services.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and performance optimization of the platform.
- Contribute to documentation including technical design, implementation steps, and user guides.
- Work within agile teams, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and backlog refinement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM and ITAM.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (business rules, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs).
- Experience with Flow Designer and application development within ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and system integrations.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Exposure to platform architecture and scalable solution design.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Machine Learning or Generative AI.
- Experience working in enterprise environments with complex integrations.
- A hands-on developer who can build and optimize ServiceNow solutions with minimal oversight.
- Someone who can translate business needs into efficient technical implementations.
- A collaborative professional comfortable working in agile team environments.
- A detail-oriented individual focused on quality, performance, and maintainability.
- A proactive problem solver who can identify issues and drive them to resolution.
- A clear communicator capable of documenting and explaining technical concepts effectively.
