Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support and manage cloud infrastructure, integration platforms, observability solutions, IT service management, networking, security, and deployment automation. This role will focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS), enterprise monitoring, incident and change management, and cloud operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with Oracle Cloud technologies, enterprise infrastructure, monitoring and logging platforms, security controls, automation, and ITIL-based operational processes.

- Role: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
- Experience: 10+ Years
- Work Location: Phoenix, AZ (100% onsite). Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance. Relocation is not available
- Project Duration: 12+ Months Contract
- Manage and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments, ensuring reliability, availability, and operational stability.
- Configure and maintain Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) environments and support enterprise integration requirements.
- Administer Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) environments and assist with cloud-based analytics platform operations.
- Manage Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS), including identity, access, authentication, and authorization requirements.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications using Dynatrace and other enterprise observability solutions.
- Manage and analyze application and infrastructure logs using Splunk.
- Support ServiceNow-based incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Design and support hybrid network connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, routing, network connectivity, and related infrastructure components.
- Develop and maintain IAM policies based on enterprise security and access requirements.
- Support security patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening activities.
- Develop, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Automate recurring operational activities using scripting and automation technologies.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, networking, security, and deployment-related issues across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, networking, and operations teams to resolve technical issues and support production environments.
- Follow established operational procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and service delivery processes.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, problem resolution, and change implementation activities
- Support cloud platform upgrades, maintenance activities, and operational improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Practical experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Experience administering or supporting Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
- Experience with Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) and enterprise identity management.
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace for infrastructure and application monitoring.
- Strong experience with Splunk for centralized log management, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with ServiceNow for incident, problem, and change management.
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud networking, routing, firewalls, and connectivity.
- Experience designing and managing IAM policies, roles, permissions, and access controls.
- Experience supporting security patches, infrastructure upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities for operational and infrastructure tasks.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale OCI environments.
- Experience integrating OCI services with on-premises infrastructure and other cloud platforms.
- Experience with advanced Dynatrace monitoring, dashboards, alerting, and performance analysis.
- Experience developing Splunk searches, dashboards, alerts, and operational reports.
- Experience with ServiceNow workflows, change processes, and production support operations.
- Experience automating OCI infrastructure and operational tasks.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, IAM governance, and network security controls.
- Experience supporting high-availability and production-critical cloud environments.
- Experience working with enterprise CI/CD platforms and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based service management and enterprise operational governance.
