Backend Developer

- Role: Backend Developer
- Experience: 6-9 Years
- Location: Phoenix, AZ
- Duration: 12 Month Contract
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Java.
- Build and optimize large-scale data processing pipelines leveraging frameworks like Apache Flink, Beam, or Storm.
- Work with BigQuery or Oracle for data storage, processing, and querying.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions for complex data processing requirements.
- Ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance through effective coding and design practices.
- Debug and resolve backend application issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in big data and backend technologies.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in Java backend development.
- Strong expertise in frameworks like Apache Flink, Beam, or Storm for large-scale data processing.
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery or Oracle for data operations.
- Understanding of distributed systems and big data processing pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with big data tools and technologies in a cloud environment.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
